If you’re a writer, chances are you’ve been thinking long and hard about writing a book – but not just any book. You, of course, want to write one that will make a difference and be published widely, beloved by readers and able to bring you a substantial income. After all, writing is a career, and every author hopes to make a living off of the words that they write. Those who seek books like this are increasingly turning to the weight loss industry. Thanks to the millions of readers who seek quick, effective solutions and advice on getting fit and healthy, writers can easily write and publish books that will sell fast.
According to Thinking Nutrition, the weight loss industry has become increasingly and incredibly profitable for writers in recent years. As the world’s population has gained weight, and obesity has taken hold of so many individuals, more and more people are looking for ways to regain their health and lose all of that excess weight. This drive, or desperation as some call it, to shed pounds is what caused the weight loss industry to explode in popularity – and writers can make quite a lot of money by writing about this subject. Readers are looking for constant updates and fresh information about getting fit, and they don’t buy one dieting book; they buy multiple.
For writers, publishing a successful book on weight loss is a simple process. You don’t need to be a nutrition expert, hold any certifications, or even have strong knowledge of exercise. Many popular fitness and weight loss authors are average individuals – people who originally ran personal weight loss blogs, or who chronicled their own health journeys with no expert help. So, for a writer who simply wants to publish a book that will see both success and significant income, developing a weight loss book that features any kind of advice at all is an easy way to achieve this goal. With testimonials, a clear-cut problem that readers must address, and a few nutritional suggestions, a weight loss book can be a hit.
Ok so we have an amazing handbag and want to keep it looking brand new. But we also want to be able to use it and put in some of our essentials such as makeup, glasses, something to write on, and even some snacks. But I think it is safe to say that we all have had a handbag disaster which involved a snack or food. Perhaps your food got squashed and went everywhere in your bag, or even just stunk out your bag so badly that it was never the same afterwards. So what can we do about this? Is there anything we can do? We can always not carry food in our bags anymore. Or perhaps there is another way? Perhaps we can take snacks with us that will not ruin our bags. Here are some of our favorite snack ideas that will not only keep you going, but also keep your hand bag going too.
Nuts / Trail Mix
Nuts such as almonds, cashews, or walnuts are great options. They taste great and will not leak all over your hand bag. Same thing with trail mix. Also a great option. Just be sure that if you choose to go with trail mix, make sure you get the type that has no chocolate in it. It should only have nuts and perhaps dried fruit in it.
Protein bars are a great option for you and your bags. Store bought bars are great as they won’t leak and come in many flavors. However, many of these products are not that healthy so for a healthier option, try homemade protein bars instead. If you make your own though, make sure you do not use any chocolate as it may melt and make sure you use packaging which will not leak.
Fruit is a great healthy snack to carry around in your handbag. But it is one that you need to be very careful with. Never put a piece of fruit in your hand bag if it’s anywhere near ripe and always take it out if you don’t eat it. This is definitely one of the riskier foods to put in your handbag, so use caution.
Some parents choose to work from home because of the kids. They want to continue to earn and at the same time spend as much time with the children and watch them go through every milestone in life. However, this decision is not as easy as you think it is. You constantly have to manage your time between the two or worse you have to do everything almost at the same time.
Yes, it is not easy but there is something that you can do about it. Here are a few tips:
Tip #1 Create a Routine
You may be working at home but the fact is, you are still working. There are tasks to complete so try to keep a schedule so the children will get used to seeing you working at a specific time of the day.
Tip #2 Choose your Job Well
Having a job that requires you to be on the phone most of the time may not be a good idea especially if you don’t have a nanny. Expect that the kids will come up to you and talk to you for a while and if you have to be on the phone then you (or your client) might end up getting distracted and not getting much work done. If you can, find a client that will allow you to be flexible, a work that you can stop or start.
Tip #3 Work with Your Partner
Coordinate your schedule with that of your partner’s if you both work from home so one of you can take care of the kids while the other one is working. Teamwork works.
Tip #4 Be Creative
Turning to technology to keep the kids busy is not always recommended although it does help them to keep occupied. Give them activities that will allow them to explore their creativity so they don’t get bored right away or teach them how to play on their own.
